Pocatello man accused of kicking, hitting officers

A Pocatello man was arrested Monday night on a charge of battery on a police officer. Nathan Victor Salley was also charged with resisting and obstructing an officer.

Pocatello police said they were called to a disturbance between two men at 128 Teakwood at 8:50 p.m. Monday.

Lt. Ian Nelson said Salley took a fighting stance when officers tried to separate the two. He then kicked and hit officers before he was taken into custody, Nelson said.

The police officers were not hurt.
