One man killed in a rollover accident near Shelley
One man was killed after his SUV rolled near Shelley midday Friday.
Idaho State Police say the accident happened near Shelley on 1200 North just after noon Friday.
The driver has been identified as Eric Galvan-Hurtado, age 20, of Shelley. Idaho State Police say he was driving westbound in a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee. He failed to maintain his lane of travel, rolled, and was ejected from the vehicle.
Eric was transported by ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Police say Eric was not wearing his seat belt and alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
