More resurfacing work in Salmon area
U.S. Highway 93 south of Salmon is being repaved.
The Idaho Transportation Department said Tuesday the project, which extends from Eightmile Creek to Rattlesnake Creek, is scheduled to be finished in mid-June.
Motorists should expect delays. During resurfacing, travel will be restricted to one lane, with flaggers directing traffic through the work zone.
The ITD said drivers should watch for construction workers and equipment, obey signs, and be prepared to stop and follow pilot cars as directed.
Crews have already resurfaced Main Street and Challis Street in Salmon, and U.S. 93 south of Salmon to Eightmile Creek. Workers will apply pavement markings in Salmon and resurface intersections and approaches south of Salmon, ITD said.
