Woman hit, killed by vehicle in western Wyoming

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — An investigation is underway after a woman was hit and killed by a vehicle in western Wyoming.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports 39-year-old Thomasine Ridgely was hit near Ethete early Tuesday morning.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol has not determined if she was lying in the road or walking when she was struck.

No other information has been released.
