Rigby couple believes someone stole their chickens

A Rigby couple woke-up earlier this week to find every single one of their adult chickens gone.

Rick and Debbie Strauss say they walked outside Monday morning to find their chicken coop completely empty. They initially thought it could have been wild animals or possibly disease, but with zero signs of blood and no sign of the birds they believe the only option is that someone stole them.

“It’s probably around $200 dollars worth of chickens,” says Rick Strauss. “We bought them as hatchlings and raised them. We’ve got food in them, you’ve got the egg factor.”

The Strauss’ have filed a police report.
