ARTitorium on Broadway celebrates one year

It’s a kids dream: a place to be loud, fun, and play with toys.

“We try to avoid having too many rules in artitorium , we don’t stop you from running and we don’t stop you from yelling,” said Georgina Goodlander, visual arts director for the Idaho Falls Arts Council.

This weekend, the ARTitorium celebrates its first birthday since opening its doors last year.

Admission is just $1 and they have many birthday-themed crafts at the ARTitorium as well.

“The first year of our opening of the ARTitorium has just been incredible,” said Goodlander.

The ARTitorium saw just over 4,500 kids on school trips stop by, hosted 170 art classes and thousands of creations were made by the children.

If you’d like to take advantage of the $1 admission you can stop by the ARTitorium on Friday until 6 p.m and on Saturday from 10a.m.-6 p.m.
