Man arrested for meth after fleeing accident

Idaho Falls Police arrested 20-year-old Alexander S. Pace for felony possession of Methamphetamine, leaving the scene of an accident and a City of Idaho Falls warrant Tuesday night.

Pace of Ammon was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.

According to reports, officers responded to a traffic accident near 25th and 17th streets around 8 p.m. While enroute, officers learned that Pace, who was the driver involved in the accident, attempted to leave the accident. He was stopped and detained by an off?duty Idaho State Trooper.

Pace was found to be in possession of three grams of Methamphetamine.
