Man arrested after stand-off with deputies

One man has been arrested after barricading himself inside a home in Bonneville County late Thursday evening.

The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office says they responded to a domestic disturbance call in the 3200 block of Sangria Court near Rocky Mountain Middle School Thursday night before 9 p.m.

When deputies arrived, a man fled into another room of the house and locked the door. Deputies say he was armed with a knife and possibly other weapons.

A SWAT team was called in to assist deputies shortly after.

Just after 10:30 p.m. Daniel Boyack was taken into custody. There is no word yet on charges.

There are no reports of injuries to deputies or Boyack.

Deputies are continuing to investigate.
