Two arrested in connection to EISF stabbing

Bingham County Sheriff’s Office and the Blackfoot Police are investigating two men in connection to a stabbing Saturday at the Eastern Idaho State Fair.

The victim of the stabbing Marcelino G. Albino, 24 years old, was transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center and is still in serious condition at this time.

One suspect Donavan Osborne, 21 years old, was arrested in Fort Hall and is now being held in their facility pending an extradition hearing today. Osborne was arrested on a warrant issued by Bingham County for aggravated battery. The bond on the warrant is $500,000 at this time.

A second suspect a Shawn T. Madewell, 23 years old, was arrested the night of the incident and has been booked into jail for principle to aggravated assault. Madewell has a bond hearing today.

At this time detectives are in the process of interviewing all the witnesses to the crime.
