Business ideas for renewable energy
The Department of Energy and Idaho National Laboratory is offering vouchers for $50,000 up to $300,000 to businesses that are U.S. based.
Some of the ideas they are looking for are in the developments of clean-energy technologies.
You must have 500 or less employees to be considered a small business.
Being selected would give the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment.
Tammie Borders a research scientist with the program said it is a great opportunity.
“We want to make an impact we want to have the research that we do at the lab actually make it to the commercialization market to see an impact.And the best place to start working with is small business,” said Borders.
It’s a $20 million program, and it will last until Oct.23.
Selections will be made by December.
