Springfield man dies in single vehicle accident

Bingham County Sheriff’s office says they were dispatched to 1200 West 600 South around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday for a single vehicle crash.

When emergency responders arrived at the crash they found the driver of the vehicle dead. Irvan H. Butler Jr. was driving when he lost control of the vehicle and was ejected during the accident. The sheriff’s office believes the vehicle rolled over top of him. The accident occurred sometime after midnight.

Bingham County Sheriff’s office believes that alcohol was a factor that led to the crash. They are still investigating the accident.
