Pilot walks away from plane crash near Grace

A single engine plane went down in a field near Grace, Wednesday evening.

Caribou County Sheriff’s OfficeChief Deputy “J” Adam Mabey says, the plane was coming in for a landing just before 7 p.m., when it crashed 10 miles southeast of Grace.

The nose of the plane dug into the ground, flipping it upside down in the field.

The pilot was not injured.
