High school college fair spark students’ interest

Students at Hillcrest High School are getting ready to host their annual college fair.

The fair will attract universities, military academies and technical schools from across the states.

High school kids will learn about scholarships and other ways to pay their way through college.

A school councilor said money shouldn’t stop anyone from going to college.

“It’s FAFSA, which is for filling for financial aid for government loans and grants. Anybody who doesn’t have money to go to college is really in a good place because they can get grants. The less money you have to go to college the more money you can get in grants,” said Shauna Polson, school counselor.

The fair starts Wednesday and will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

There is no cost to attend.
