Two killed in car accident near Fort Hall

Fort Hall Police and the FBI are investigating a two vehicle crash that left two dead Thursday morning.

At around 3 a.m. a truck being driven by 18-year-old Ruben Wounded head crossed the center line of Hawthorne Road and struck an SUV being driven by Garret Osborne, 25-years-old. Jessica Stump was a passenger in the vehicle as well. Both Osborne and Stump were pronounced dead at the site of the accident.

Ruben Wounded Head was transported to Portneuf Medical Center with critical injuries. At this time he is being charged with reckless driving in Tribal Court. Federal charges are pending further investigation.

The incident is still under investigation.
