Bingham Academy celebrates candidacy

The Bingham Academy has cleared an important hurdle toward accreditation.

It had 24 months to achieve candidacy status but did it in 16 months.

Head teacher, Mark Fisk, said the next step is completing an external review.

Fisk said once they have been accredited it’s a continuous process.

“Even when we achieve that were never off the accreditation track because we will have that accreditation status. It’s a continual process of improvement a continual process of improvement continual process of reflection,” said Fisk.

Fisk said an external team will review their current status and make recommendations for accreditation.
