Idaho Falls man arrested for knife threat

Police arrested Jaden T. Nelson, 20, of Idaho Falls Thursday after a victim claimed Nelson threatened him with a kitchen knife.

Idaho Falls Police said they were called at 11 a.m. to the 700 block of South Holmes when an assault was reported. The 64-year-old victim claimed Nelson pulled the knife on him and demanded his cell phone earlier in the day at a residence in the 1200 block of South Boulevard.

The victim left and reported the incident to police. Nelson was arrested on charges of aggravated assault at the South Boulevard address and booked into the Bonneville County jail.
