Truck falls off of I-15, driver walks away with just minor injuries

The driver of a pickup truck walked away with just minor injuries after an accident caused by slippery road conditions near Inkom.

Idaho State Police say the driver of this pick up tried to pass a semi a little too quickly and lost control on I-15 while changing lanes.

The truck went into a slide, crashed through 2 guardrails, and fell off the interstate. The truck landed on its roof, right in the middle of rapid creek road.

The driver walked away with only a few cuts and bruises and a dog that was riding in the truck is also ok.

Just a few minutes after the first accident, another car wiped out at the same spot on I-15 but the guardrail caught the car and kept the car on the road.

Both accidents have been cleared. Idaho State Police does want to remind drivers to use caution on roads throughout the area today and to watch to dangerous conditions.
