Winter weather not the only cause of slide-offs
People travel everyday on the highways and still going the speed limits, regardless of how bad the weather is. But there’s another cause to slide-offs other than icy weather.
“You got to take your cruise control off,” said Anthony Richards of the Pocatello Transportation Dept.
He says it’s because of that particular car function, and the fact people are either on their cell phones or just plainly not paying attention.
After the winter weather advisory Thursday, more snow is expected to drop in south eastern Idaho.
Although, this icy weather has many negative factors to do with the operation of our vehicles, Richards says it’s definitely not the sole cause of slide-off accidents.
