Nuclear waste cleanup contract given to Fluor Idaho, LLC

The U.S. Department of Energy has announced that they have awarded a nuclear waste cleanup contract to Fluor Idaho, LLC to address the removal of waste from the Idaho National Laboratory site.The contract is valued at $1.4 billion, and lasts for five years.

The contractor teamwill be responsible for cleaning toxic and radioactive contamination and removing nuclear waste products from the site west of Idaho Falls.
