Head-on crash on Woodruff Avenue injures 2

Idaho Falls Police are investigating an accident Thursday night on the corner of Woodruff Avenue and First Street.

Officers say a Ford Ranger pickup was heading north on Woodruff, ready to make a left turn. A white Ford Bronco was heading south. Both traffic lights were yellow at the time, when the pickup turned in front of the Bronco, causing the crash.

The driver of the pickup and a passenger from the Bronco were taken by ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. Their conditions are not known as of Thursday night’s late newscast.

Traffic was diverted around the accident while crews cleaned it up.
