What men want for Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day is filled with dinner, roses, and chocolates for the ladies, but what do the men want? That’s something that Local News 8 went to investigate at Idaho State University Friday afternoon.
“I would expect her to come on a date with me. I would like to take her to a Mexican restaurant,” said ISU student Sanjay Thakui.
Thakui is a foreign exchange student from Nepal, and just arrived last Fall. He knows all about Valentine’s Day and what it really means, it’s from the heart, or it’s nothing.
“It’s the caring of one another, it can be like for our parents, our friends, our girlfriend too.”
Another student from Nepal, Amar Shresta, says for Valentine’s Day, he would like to spend his time talking to his girlfriend, long walks and long talks. He believes communication is everything, and is something people don’t do as often as they should.
“I really want to talk everything I want with her, and all the romantic things and everything,” said Shresta.
For these gentlemen, love doesn’t cost much. It’s something more from the heart than anything else.
After asking more male students what they’d like for Valentine’s Day, dinner was the most common answer.
