Two women arrested on heroin charges

Pocatello Police arrested two women at 709 N. 5th at around 2:20 p.m. Wednesday on felony drug charges.

According to reports, an officer recognized Samantha Marie Culbertson, 26, of Pocatello as having a suspended license. When the car was pulled over the officer found the woman in possession of small packages of what was believed to be heroin.

After arraignment, Culbertson was being held on $50,000 bond in the Bannock County Jail Thursday.

Culbertson was arrested on four counts of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and one count of delivery of contraband into the jail.

A passenger, identified as Lydia Anna Hernandez, 26, of Pocatello also appeared to be in possession of heroin.

Hernandez was charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance. She was also wanted on a prior arrest warrant.

She was being held on $40,000 bond in the Bannock County jail Thursday.
