Black Bear Diner in Chubbuck now open

If you’re feeling hungry and looking for “bear-sized portions,” a new diner in Chubbuck might be the perfect place for you.

The Black Bear Diner is now officially open.

The diner is best known for its breakfast, which is served all-day. They also offer a variety of lunch and dinner items. With lots of bears and a rustic lodge decor, the general manager said the goal is to offer a fun atmosphere with great service.

The general manager, Bill Toelcke, said even though the eatery hasn’t been overly crowded yet, it has had steady business so far.

“It’s been the perfect pace to give good service and still deliver good ticket times and have that quality of food, great portions, without being overwhelmed,” said Toelcke.

The diner will be open until 10 p.m. on weekdays and 11 p.m. during weekends.
