Bettering women’s business development

Thursday morning started with the 13th Annual Women’s Business Symposium at the Shoshone Bannock Hotel Event Center in Fort Hall. hundreds of women came from all over in seek of ways to grow their business better.

The conference offered advice of all kinds, including financial, inspiration, and tips for keeping your eye on the target. Motivational speakers came to talk about their experiences with starting their own business.

Robin Brown of Pocatello says she has her own business of design and landscape. She says it’s a small business, but it’s one she does from home. She develops her clients from networking and mutual friends. She also says this conference has inspired her in more ways than one, and was thankful to network with so many inspirational women.

Motivational speaker and national author Lisa Keung was there to talk finances and experiences with the ladies, and shares her advice.

“Using a really easy brainstorming process to kind of to focus on what you want to to moving forward? Where do you want to live? What activities you want to do? What do you want to consume your energy and time? And being intentional about visualizing those, I’ve used it in all sorts of ways,” said Keung.
