Earth Day celebration

The big annual Idaho Falls Earth Day celebration was held at Tautphaus Park Saturday, and was filled with live music, games, crafts, and conservation education.

“This is our 16th year that we’ve done this event. Our whole idea is to lessen the footprint that all of us have created on Mother Earth, and see if we can make it a better world,” Earth Day Board Member Patti Thomas said.

The spotlight of the whole event was the Trashion Fashion Show. Children and adults put together costumes made of recyclable materials.
