Pocatello woman wins $100,000 lottery prize

A Pocatello woman is $100,000 richer after buying a winning Midnight Money Scratch Lottery ticket in early April.

Kathleen Poe was driving across town when she decided to stop at the Maverik Country Store on Alameda and Pocatello.

Poe said she had to wait until she had a day off the Lottery offices were open before she could make the drive to Boise to claim her prize. “I’ve had this ticket for a few weeks now and I still don’t really believe that it’s real,” admitted Poe when she received her winning check.

She said she would kep her winnings in a safe place until she decides what to do with them.
