Reporter/Producer

KIFI Local News 8/KIDK Eyewitness News 3 (NPG of Idaho) is looking for a dynamic MMJ reporter/producer to attract viewers through stories they enterprise.

This position is located in Idaho Falls and will work with the area’s number one news team.

The position is an MMJ reporter 3 days a week and then produces newscasts on the weekend.

This is a great position to learn on improving your reporting and writing skills to tell great people stories.

Duties include gathering facts, writing, shooting and editing news stories, maintain contact with an assigned beat, and represent the station at public events.

You will work with some of the latest digital technology on the market, including HD Cameras, Laptop editors and live gathering equipment. You will basically be a one-man band reporter.

Candidates should be a graduate from a four-year university with a degree in journalism or broadcasting.
