Sheriff’s office releases update in Evans Grain fire investigation
The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office is releasing new information for the investigation of a fire near the Evan’s Grain tower in Idaho Falls on April 27th.
In a press release, the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office said two male juveniles (ages 14 and 15) and one female juvenile (age 10) were involved in accidentally starting the fire after playing with a lighter.
The case now goes to the Bonneville County Prosecutor’s office to look into possible charges.
The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind parents to talk to their kids about the dangers and consequences of playing with fire and trespassing on private property, especially as we approach the dry season and fire danger is escalated.
