Kimberly man killed in Utah truck crash

A Kimberly man was killed at 10:37 a.m. Sunday when the semi-truck he was driving crashed on westbound SR-218 near milepost 4, just outside of Amalga, Utah, which is west of Smithfield.

The Utah Highway Patrol said Salvador Lemus-Tellez, 57, apparently drifted off the right side of the road and rolled down an embankment. Lemus-Tellez was found deade in the cab of the truck.

The tanker was loaded with what appeared to be an agricultural product, possibly whey.
