New hotel coming to Idaho Falls

A new hotel is coming to Idaho Falls.

Tuesday there was a groundbreaking for a Springhill Suites by Marriott along the Snake River next to the Residence Inn.

The new hotel will have 124 rooms, and bring about 40 full-time jobs to the area.

In addition to that, this project is also supposed to help improve outdoor activities and increase tourism.
