Melaluca employees cashing in on huge surprise bonuses

Melaleuca is experiencing huge growth for the 2016 year, making this their best year ever in sales. And on Thursday, CEO Frank Vandersloot surprised each and every one of his employees with “Thank You” bonuses — totaling over $1.1 million.

Employees and their families were treated to a special celebration at the 2016 Melaleuca Picnic. More than 4,500 people came out to enjoy the family fun event that took over the field near Melaleuca Headquarters.

Vandersloot enjoys taking care of his employees and sharing companies gains with them all. He said he hopes when his employees retire, they are millionaires.

“We gave some nice bonuses out. We announced them yesterday and are giving them out today. We’re just having the best year ever in out history. We’ve had a lot of great years. Every year has been better than the previous year and this one is outstanding. So we’re just telling thank you to the folks who got us here. Loyalty is a two-way street. Our employees are loyal to us and we try to be loyal to them in return,” said Vandersloot.

Being halfway through this calendar year, Melaleuca is already on track to surpass its annual sales record.
