Memorial held for Driggs woman

Friends and family of the young woman who was murdered in Driggs gathered together to celebrate her life. A memorial was held in her honor in Jackson Saturday.

Jennifer Nalley—or “Pixie” as her roller derby teammates called her—was known for being the woman who couldn’t sit still.

Memories were shared of the young woman who was built tough, but always known or being the center of a good time. Her teammates said she was brilliant, vibrant, and always up for a challenge.

They said the world lost a little spark this week.

“It was kind of hard,” said Elyse Archer. “The most difficult thing. I’ve never lost a friend before; I’ve never had to set up a memorial. But she was my best friend here so I felt like I was the one to do it.”

“Well if they don’t know her then I’m so sorry because they were lucky for anyone to know her,” Archer said. “She was the best person, funniest, smartest, she was just a firecracker.”

One teammate gave out “Pixie Dust” a mixture of wild flowers to be planted in Jennifer’s memory.
