Bonneville School District short of bus drivers

Bonneville School District 93 is short of bus drivers.

This is because the student population continues to grow and some bus drivers have retired.

If about 15 positions aren’t filled, bus routes could be consolidated, meaning kids could be on the bus longer.

“There’s funding for the bus drivers. It’s a great place to work,” District 93 transportation supervisor, Karen Judy said. “we’d love to have new people here. We want the right people that are good with kids and will keep our kids safe.”

“It’s a rewarding experience,” said bus driver Randy Waite. “You don’t get rich, but it’s a rich experience.”
