UPDATE: Name released on deadly motorcycle accident

UPDATE 7/14/2014 11:30a:

Bonneville County Sheriff’s office released the name and more details on the deadly motorcycle accident Wednesday night.

Deputies said Jack Joslin, 47, of Idaho Falls died from his injuries. He was riding north on 5th West and struck the side of a SUV pulling away from a driveway onto 5th West.

The driver of the SUV, Roger Henry, 69, of Idaho Falls, was not injured, they said.

Deputies said Joslin was not wearing a helmet.

An investigation as to the cause of the accident is still ongoing, they said.

ORIGINAL STORY 7/13/2014:

One person has died after a motorcycle and a car crashed near Idaho Falls late Wednesday night.

The accident happened on the 5000 block of South 5th West, around 9:30pm.

The motorcycle operator was killed in the accident, the identity has not been released, pending family notification.
