Update: Cliff Creek fire grows to 2,200 acres

A Type 2 Incident Management team is assuming control of the Cliff Creek Fire, burning five miles north of Bondurant, Wyoming.
The fire was reported at 2:30 p.m. Sunday and had grown to 2,200 acres by Sunday night.
One pole barn was burned, but no other structures have been lost.
Evacuations were ordered for homes in the Dell Creek area, west of the Elk Horn Bar and Grill. The Cliff Creek Drainage and the forest’s Kozy Campground have been evacuated.
Highway 191/189 between Daniel Junction, Wyoming and Hoback Junction, Wyoming is closed. The fire is burning on both sides of the highway and there is thick smoke impeding visibility.
The fire has been growing to the north and east, moving towards the Granite creek drainage. Firefighters ordered aircraft to attack the fire. Helicopters dropped buckets of water on the flames and a large aircraft dropped fire retardant on the ridgelines to slow the spread of the blaze.
A second 1.5 acre fire, the Deer Ridge fire, is burning 5.6 miles north of the Cliff Creek fire.
Update 7/17/16 6:33 p.m.: The Bridger-Teton National Forest Service said a third fire has been identified 5.6 miles north of the Cliff Creek Fire.
The Deer Ridge Fire is approximately 20 acres in size and is presumed to be caused by lightning.

Original Story: Evacuations are underway in Bondurant, WY for the Cliff Creek Fire. The fire burns between Highways 191/89. One structure has been lost. Those highways have been closed due to fire jumping over the roadway. The fire was discovered on the Bridger-Teton National Forest at 2:30pm Sunday July 17 , approximately 5-miles north of the town of Bondurant Wyoming. In one hour the Cliff Creek fire grew from 5 acres to 15 acres.
The White Fire is 3.6 acres in size and is burning approximately four miles south of the Deer Creek Guard Station on the Greys River Road in Alpine, Wyoming. There is a hand crew of 24 firefighters working on the fire. They are using shovels, McLeod rakes, and Pulaski’s to flank the fire with a line of dirt that they scratch into the surface, free of burnable material, to help contain the fire. A helicopter is staying with the firefighters and is dropping buckets of water on the fire and bringing supplies to the fire area. The firefighters have this fire 45% contained. Full containment is expected Monday, July 19 , 2016.
