Bannock County crash under investigation
A 50-year-old Brigham City, Utah man was not seriously hurt after a crash at Mile post 32 on US Highway 91 Wednesday night.
Bannock County Sheriff’s Captain Kevin Fonnesbeck said David Reinkrout told deputies he was driving down the road at around 10:30 p.m. when a semi-truck ran him off the road. His 1991 Chevrolet Lumina ran into a ditch. Fonnesbeck said there was no evidence of a collision at the scene.
Reinkrout, who is hearing impaired, said he crawled about 400 yards from the crash site, where he was found by a member of the Bannock County Search and Rescue team.
Reinkrout was not hospitalized.
The crash is still under investigation.
