Department of Correction walkaway back in custody

A man who walked away from a Department of Correction worksite in Ammon is back in custody.

Kristopher Andras Hass,24, was last seen at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the 2500 block of S. 25th East in Ammon. He was taken into custody late Tuesday night when he returned to the worksite.

Hass was sentenced in Twin Falls County to 2 to 5 years for malicious injury to property in 2011. He was eligible to be released on parole after completing terms of set by the Idaho Commission for Pardons and Parole.

His sentence was to be discharged on Dec. 3, 2017.
