Pocatello Town and Country Gardens to close

Town and County Gardens will be closing its Pocatello store starting on August 25th when they will hold a store closing sale.

The store is closing as the result of a divorce settlement. The owner for the business, John Crook, says that the location has been performing well but he had to liquidate the location to meet the terms of the divorce settlement.

The Idaho Falls store will be staying open.

The Pocatello store has a 112 year history. It originally opened in 1904 as Pocatello Greenhouse and Floral. The business was sold to Crook by second generation owner Dick Chase in 2001 and it was rebranded as a second location for Town and County Gardens.

The store will be closed August 22nd – 24th to prepare for the sale. The store closing sale starts on Thursday, August 25th at 9:00 a.m. and will continue until everything has been liquidated.
