Correction: Juveniles-Life Without Parole story

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — In a story published November 16, 2021, about a Louisiana man sentenced to life in prison as a juvenile, The Associated Press erroneously reported that 24 states and the District of Columbia have banned the use of life without parole sentences for juvenile offenders. According to the Campaign for the Fair Sentencing of Youth, 25 states and the District of Columbia have banned their use.
