Wyoming man arrested in Florida for fatal crash
A Wyoming man has been arrested in Florida on vehicular homicide charges. The Jackson Hole News & Guide reports that a 28-year-old Jackson man was arrested Thursday in Naples, Florida, after a months-long manhunt.
Prosecutors say the man was the driver in an August car crash that killed his passenger, 21-year-old Jackson resident Bonny Wood. Wood’s husband, Cory Sequera, says she was eight weeks pregnant when she was killed.
Police say the driver and two young children were also injured in the crash.
The driver was also wanted on several other charges in Jackson, including possession of a controlled substance.
According to a Sweetwater County court affidavit, the man was driving under the influence of psychoactive drugs.
