Man pleads guilty to stealing guns from Guns N Gear

The man accused of burglarizing Guns N Gear in Idaho Falls pleaded guilty to two felony charges in court Tuesday.

30-year-old Travis Castro appeared in Bonneville County Court Tuesday and plead guilty to one count of felony burglary and one count of grand theft. Castro was originally charged with 4 total counts, felony burglary and 3 counts of grand theft. The other two charges of grand theft have been dismissed.

Castro was arrested in August after he led officers on a high-speed chase in Rexburg that ended in a crash.

Castro was charged with several crimes in Madison County before he was brought to Bonneville County for Tuesday’s charges.

Castro is scheduled for sentencing on December 14, 2016.
