Jefferson County man dies in Magic Valley accident

A man from Hamer died in an rollover accident early Tuesday morning near Shoshone. Idaho State Police say, 21-year-old Weston Kirkpatrick was driving westbound on US-26 in Lincoln County, when he went off the road on the left side. Kirkpatrick over-corrected, his vehicle went back across the highway, off the road on the right side and through a residential fence. The vehicle then rolled, coming to rest in the front yard of the residence. Kirkpatrick was ejected and died at the scene of the crash. He was not wearing his seatbelt.
