Firehouse Subs offers free drinks to those who vote

Firehouse Subs is offering a free medium drink to anyone wearing an “I voted” sticker.

The campaign runs for Election Day on Nov. 8.

It’s nationwide, so all Firehouse Subs locations are participating. The company said it’s important people exercise their right to vote and it hopes this campaign will encourage people to go out and vote.

Byron Putnam, owner of the Pocatello Firehouse Subs location, said it’s also a great way to be involved with the community. He said it’s a small way to give back to the community as well. He said he’s excited to be a part of it.

“I think we’re lucky to live in a country which allows us to have a voice in our candidates which we choose,” Putnam said. “And this is a great way for Firehouse Subs to support those people that go out there and are choosing our next president of the united states.”

Firehouse Subs has more than 1,000 locations in 44 states.
