Man arrested after trying to steal beer for a bet
A Pocatello man was arrested Sunday after he tried to steal beer because of a bet he lost.
25-year-old Samuel Noe Zamora Jr was arrested for Burglary after being caught stealing beer from Winco Foods on Yellowstone in Pocatello.
Zamora told police that the attempted theft was part of a bet he lost. Zamora had bet with a friend on a football game and the loser of the bet would have to steal a case of beer from Winco Foods. Zamora lost the bet and so he tried to walk out of the store without paying.
