Two vehicle crash on Sunnyside sends two to the hospital

Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred near the intersection of Woodruff and Sunnyside in Idaho Falls.

The accident occurred when a Black Chevy Monte Carlo that was driving east on Sunnyside cut off a dump truck as it tried to turn into the KJ’s gas station at the intersection. The dump truck rear-ended the car and sent it spinning into the grass in front of the station’s car wash. The two people in the car were taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center to be treated for injuries. The driver of the truck was not injured.

The crash is still under investigation.
