Snowy and Chilly

Winter weather advisory for central mountains and eastern highland areas through early Friday morning.

Light snows bring an additional 1-2" for the snake river plain,  winds make for colder conditions and wind chills below freezing.

Highs will not breach freezing until next week. Upper 20's today for Idaho Falls.    Slick windy conditions with gusts this morning up to 36 mph reported in the lower valley...means travel can be less than pleasant. Visibility with blowing snow bursts and slick spots can get your attention quickly.   We'll have lows in the teens tonight and everything remains frozen and crunchy.  and wind chills go sub-zero.   Dry for the weekend, and cold, back to the mid to upper 20's tomorrow with sun popping through.  Yay weekend!
