Shooting leaves one dead in Idaho Falls

UPDATE 6:24 P.M.: Police confirm one man is dead and they are currently questioning another man they have now taken into custody.

UPDATE 6:01 P.M.: Idaho Falls Police Department’s Sgt. Allen Bowers said the scene is secured and the condition of the victim is still unknown.

UPDATE 5:42 P.M.: Police say a fight led to the shooting.

Crime scene investigators are on their way.

ORIGINAL STORY: Police are responding to reports of a shooting at an apartment complex at 2775 St. Clair Rd. in Idaho Falls just before 5:30 Saturday night.

Reports indicate one man has been shot in the leg and is unresponsive.
