Cold with some patchy freezing fog. Possible light snow from the fog, but our next good shot at snow will arrive Late Wednesday and into Thursday. Tonight, mostly clear skies with more FRIGID temps as lows around -5° in the Snake River Plain. Mountain locations can get close to -20°. A few areas of patchy freezing fog is possible. Tuesday, Occasional light snow before noon. Patchy freezing fog before 11am. Partly cloudy skies with light breezes out of the south west. Highs will be a bit warmer in the teens and low 20’s. Wednesday, partly cloudy skies with breezes out of the southwest. Count on a few late afternoon snow showers in the central mountains with everyone else seeing light snow showers in the late evening. Highs will be considerable warmer (by winter standards), topping out in the 20’s and low 30’s. Thursday, scattered snow showers with a mostly cloudy sky. A high near 25° to 30° in the Plain. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
