Man accused of shooting another charged with 2nd-degree murder

Justin Sarbaum, 36, was in Bonneville County court today for arraignment, where he was charged with 2nd-degree murder.

Sarbaum is being held at the Bonneville County Jail on a $200,000 bond. He will be back in court January 31st for a preliminary

If found guilty Saurbaum could receive a maximum sentence of life in prison and the minimum sentence would be 10 years. He could also face $50,000 in fines and restitution.

Saurbaum was arrested Saturday after he fought with and subsequently killed another man according to Idaho Falls Police. Idaho Falls Police are still continuing that investigation.
