Get ready for more wet weather…Our next storm system is pushing in from the west tonight into Thursday. A Winter Weather Advisory for the Snake River Plain has been issued for 5am to 9pm. We’ll look for 2-4″ of new snowfall for Eastern Idaho by this weekend. The worst time on the roads will be Thursday and Friday with snow and freezing rain possibilities. Tonight, overcast skies with lows staying steady in the 10’s and low 20’s. Scattered snow showers are possible. Chance of snow 50%. Light snow accumulations are expected. Thursday, scattered snow showers with a cloudy sky. A high near 25° to 30° in the Plain. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible. Friday, A 50% chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 30°. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. Saturday, mainly cloudy again with a 40% chance at snow. Light snowfall accumulations. Highs into the upper 20’s for the Snake River Plain.
